Before entering the business world, I was a professionally-trained dancer and choreographer (and yes, I still dance today). Part of my training included weekly sessions with peers, professionals, and professors to showcase my work and hear honest feedback and criticism on how to make it better and ensure I was accomplishing my objectives. 

Beyond teaching me hard work and humility, those weekly sessions taught me the importance of collaboration and feedback from others. I learned how to set my own ego aside, how to take and implement valuable criticism, and stay focused on the bigger picture. 

It surprises most folks to learn that even though I’m a trained dancer, I love numbers and take a data-driven approach to decision making.
